Smoke goes up, drinks go down. Ain't gonna stop till I'm damn near drown. I'll pay tomorrow with a head that pounds. But as for now let's just get lost and found.
quasi-Girl of my dreams
She rolled in like a ball of thunder
She freed my mind body and soul
I couldn't help from going under
Cause I was all out of control.
She kissed me twice and said aloha
I looked deep into her eyes
I prayed that she was saying hello
But it felt more like a good bye
We rocked and rolled out on the dance floor
We strolled from here to paradise
I never thought that she would leave me
I never thought much more than twice
So now I'm sitting in this bar room
and you ask me for a light
The only spark there is between us
might be enough to wrong whats right
Now you tell me your life story
And I pretend to vaguely care
While all my hopes for love and glory
Find empty hearts and vacant stares
So forgive me if I laugh girl
I've heard way to many times
And the only way to keep from cryin'
Is to keep drinkin' tween the lines
So I'll see you in the morning
If we both have one more drink
Can't let your conscience be your warning
When your on a ship that's bound to sink
And well check out it's at noon girl
So you best sneek out by ten
cause I'm gonna need a while
before I do this all again
