The Arrival

Pretty cool area; not far from the capitol. Nice sidewalk browsing area.

The Beer

They also do self-brewing. You can come in and try to brew some of your own.

Northern Lights Ale - Summer beer with a "touch of wheat." Not bad for what it is.
Reviewer's Rating: 3 - Equal to most macrobrews. Not too bad; nothing special.

Loose Moose Lager - Undercarbonated and tasteless.
Reviewer's Rating: 2 - Only if it's free. And then, maybe not.

Mulligan IPA - GREAT floral/citrus aroma. This copper-colored IPA was malty and well balanced with plenty of flavor.
Reviewer's Rating: 6 - Excellent. Order another one right away or take a growler home.

Walnut Brown Ale - Aroma and taste were smoky/nutty. Another solid Brown, the Walnut would be good with steak or prime rib. Good pint beer, too much for session beer.
Reviewer's Rating: 5 - Now this is beer. Would definitely drink again.

Eel Pout Stout - Guinness-like. Creamy with roasted malt, but relatively thin and easy drinking.
Reviewer's Rating: 4 - A decent beer. Slightly above average.

Highland Scotch - Diacetyl/butterscotch aroma. 5.9% alcohol, pretty strong. Again, pretty much like one would expect.
Reviewer's Rating: 4 - A decent beer. Slightly above average.

Maibock - Rich golden color and malty aroma. It is very sweet right off the bat. Very good for its style, though it leans more toward the Bock side of the street than the Mai.
Reviewer's Rating: 5 - Now this is beer. Would definitely drink again.

The Atmosphere

Awesome outdoor patio between the two buildings-relaxed cafe/garden feel.

Afterthoughts

Try the Mulligan or Brown. The atmosphere on a warm summer afternoon was perfect.
